Hand dyed sock/fingering weight yarn, superwash treated for easy care. Four plies with a nice round twist, smooth and strong. This is the same base yarn as my popular mini skeins. Perfect for knitting, crocheting and other fiber-y pursuits.
COLORWAY
Potluck Greys & Browns: randomly applied shades of silver, charcoal, bark, acorn, khaki and gold, with some areas intentionally left white. This is a non-repeatable 'potluck' batch - coordinated shades randomly added to the dyepot, with unique results.
ABOUT THIS YARN
• 100% superwash merino wool
• 4 ply fingering/sock weight
• Each skein weighs 103g, approximately 448 yards
• Gauge is approximately 7 to 8 stitches per inch on US #1-3 needles
CAREFULLY CRAFTED COLOR
• Hand dyed in small batches, by me, in my Vermont studio
• There may be some variation from skein to skein, even within the same batch. For best results, alternate skeins every few rows in projects using multiple skeins
CARE
• Hand or machine wash, dry flat
• If you choose to machine wash, use cold water & gentle cycle
